The introduction of hospital-grade cleaning products and enhanced regimes, using anti-viral products provide ongoing protection for all passengers. Underground, the air inside every carriage is changed every two to three minutes and fresh air is drawn in through tunnels, ventilation shafts and fans. Since September 2020, no trace of coronavirus has been found in TfL stations and more than 1,000 hand sanitising points have been introduced across the network. With the Elizabeth line due to go live very soon, Excel visitors, exhibitors and organisers will benefit from a dedicated station on-site.
