This confirms that the exponential growth in the number of meetings continues, having slowly reduced in the past 5-10 years into a more mature, yet still solid growth pattern.
London maintains its number five slot in the city rankings. Extending its lead on sixth placed Singapore from two to 17 and reduced the gap to fourth placed Berlin from 23 to eight. The United Kingdom consolidated last year’s third spot in the country rankings for 2017.
Excel London has hosted some exceptional meetings in 2017 including EAU (European Association of Urology), Offshore Wind Energy, AAIC (Alzheimer's Association International Conference) and ISCT (International Society of Cell and Gene Therapy).
The return of the European Wound Management Association (EWMA) for 2019, The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) 2021 and this year’s EuCAP (European Conference on Antennas and Propagation), EAES (European Association for Endoscopic Surgery) and IADR (International Association for Dental Research) are testament to the growth witnessed in the sector.
