WTM 2026 Technology Support & Connectivity Planning

This autumn, the Cisco Wi-Fi 7 upgrade will have rolled out across the Excel campus. Built for business-critical activity, it will significantly enhance connectivity across the venue, delivering a more robust, dedicated service for exhibitors in high-density event environments such as WTM 2026. The upgraded network will be fully managed and secure, with advanced monitoring, enhanced performance and greater control.

Delivering reliable connectivity at an event the size of WTM is a shared responsibility. By working together and ensuring all internet requirements are shared in advance, we can minimise wireless interference, optimise network performance and help provide a seamless experience for all exhibitors and visitors.

To help deliver a seamless technology experience at World Travel Market 2026, Excel is introducing a new proactive support programme for exhibitors.

Our technology team will work with all WTM exhibitors in advance of the event, to understand stand plans, review internet requirements and provide guidance on the most suitable connectivity solution. This approach helps reduce on-site issues, supports business-critical technology deployments and ensures exhibitors have access to the services they need to operate successfully.

What exhibitors need to do

As part of your preparations for WTM 2026, all exhibitors must complete an Internet Usage Declaration Form.

The form allows us to understand how technology will be used on your stand and ensures that any connectivity requirements are reviewed before arriving on site. If your stand has more advanced requirements, such as demonstrations, streaming, high device volumes, business-critical applications or other specialist technology needs, a member of the Excel technology team may contact you directly to discuss the most appropriate solution.

How Excel is supporting WTM exhibitors

This year, Excel is introducing a dedicated technology support model specifically for WTM exhibitors.

This includes:

Early review of technology requirements before the event.
Identification of complex or high-risk technology installations.
Direct consultation with exhibitors who require specialist support.
Validation of internet orders to ensure the selected service meets the stand's requirements.
On-site technology support during build-up and live event days.
Ongoing monitoring of venue network performance throughout the show.
