The Royal Docks venue took top spot in the 'Best London Venue Covid-19 Response' category at the London Venue & Catering Awards followed by 'England’s Best Convention Centre 2021' at the World MICE Awards.
In addition, it also scooped Bronze in the 'The Sustainability Award' and the 'Best Staff Support During COVID-19' at the London Venue & Catering Awards.
It's also shortlisted for two more awards - AEO's Best Lockdown Initiative and ESSA's Venue of the Year - with the results due in December.
Commenting on the recent London Venue & Catering Awards win, the judges said: "Pulling together the variety of professional skills in building a temporary hospital in such a short time is just commendable.
"The submission is full of amazing activities and demonstrates how good planning and the activation of dedicated professional teams with such commitment results in an amazing transformation of this space.
"The transformation of this huge venue was nothing less than incredible. Preparing to support the capital which could have turned into a humanitarian crisis.
"Obviously, they had a substantial Covid response 'asked' of them - but what an achievement to have pivoted venue services and team skills so significantly!
"Nightingale hospital and Excel did the events industry proud - well done."
