Confidence and optimism for attending in-person events

Conference delegates are confident and feeling positive about attending in-person events

A recent delegate confidence survey carried out by ABPCO (Association of British Professional Conference Organisers) and Bramcote International found that flexibility, creativity, and new ways to facilitate networking were key elements for bringing people back to live events.

Here are some of the key findings:

  • 93% of respondents miss the networking, social interaction, and meeting people
  • 70% of respondents will be attending their next event before March 2022
  • 47% of respondents are happy to attend 'in-person' events, this rises to 75% if the individual is fully vaccinated

The overall results indicate that confidence levels are high, and there is a real appetite for the return of in-person conferences and events.

This report analysed responses from 350 association delegates.
