RCOG’s mission is to improve healthcare for women everywhere. The RCOG World Congress is the ultimate event for obstetrics and gynaecology professionals.
In conjunction with specialist society partners, RCOG created a programme of world-leading practitioners, researchers and commentators – from the highly respected university hospitals across the UK and further afield.
RCOG and Rapiergroup made use of digital infrastructure, ensuring consistent and integrated communications to delegates across different platforms within the venue.
This included the voices of 19 women with live experience which were pre-recorded and broadcast, across the congress. It reinforced that RCOG champions the best in women’s healthcare and supports doctors so that they’re equipped to do the best job possible for women.

As the congress attracted the optimum number of delegates, the use of the spaces at Excel was maximised. The congress required a number of different settings in order to complement the dynamic format.
This included accommodating 100 speakers, many of whom were high-profile experts, 12 sponsor symposiums, 50 exhibitors, 58 mini-theatre iPoster presentations and 7 session streams.
