Supply Chain travel emissions

GES have a warehouse located onsite at Excel reducing transportation emissions.

Sustainable flooring options

All floor products are recycled except for artificial grass, which is currently re-purposed through local charities or community projects with a recyclable alternative currently being trialled. Main flooring products include cord, velour carpet and vinyl flooring.

New Rewind Cradle to Cradle Silver certified carpet product was brought to market by GES for the first time at FutureBuild in March 2023. As the product doesn't contain latex, no water is used during manufacturing and the traditional oven drying process is eliminated - reducing the energy required during production by 85% and CO2 emissions by 55%.

Graphics and Stand fitting waste

GES have introduced bailers at Excel to maximise segregation and recovery of printed materials. They are working with Reconomy and FESPA, who offer solutions for difficult-to-recycle waste streams, to gain accreditation and achieve a recycling rate of 87% for this type of waste, with the remainder sent to Energy to Recovery.

Your event manager will guide and support you, developing the specification of services, ensuring best value to deliver the best possible experience for your delegates and visitors, sponsors and exhibitors.
