With a seemingly infinite amount of things to do, here's our recommendations on where to start...

The Narrow

Gordon Ramsay’s The Narrow serves a variety of tasty dishes from Cornish hake to Dingley Dell pork chop. The menu includes fresh cuts, a fish of the day and other British classics, which are chalked up daily on the blackboard. Cocktails, wine and beer can be enjoyed in the bar or conservatory, which overlook the river, making it an ideal setting for a post-event drink. The menu is reasonably priced and guests are made to feel very welcome in an informal, relaxed atmosphere.

Boisdale of Canary Wharf

If you’re looking for a decadent setting (think Scottish castle with leanings towards gentleman-club rooms, tartan and thistles) then this restaurant bar in Canary Wharf will be perfect for you and your guests. The food downstairs comes as part of an affordable, brasserie style menu while the third floor main restaurant serves delicious steak and dishes a la carte. To top it all, the magnificent bar stocks over 1,000 different kinds of whisky and with Jools Holland as their patron of music, the Boisdale is a great location to enjoy live jazz, blues and soul music.

Everyman Cinema (Canary Wharf)

Imagine bringing the big screen into your living room with your shoes kicked off and a good glass of wine on the sofa — informal, friendly, and completely relaxing. That’s what the Everyman Cinema experience feels like. With big squishy sofas intended for two, or armchairs for the lone movie-goer, Everyman has intimate theatres that make you feel as though you’re fully immersed in the film. They also provide a wide range of freshly made snacks and drinks.
