During this time Mark oversaw all services provided by ExCeL, delivered the 2012 Olympics in the venue, headed up the commercial partnerships, catering and media teams and led the transformation of ExCeL’s food and drink offering.
Brindley has most recently worked as Global Business Development & Key Account Director with Travelex, developing their commercial scope across 98 airports and working with over 250 retail partners. He has a background in business leadership and marketing with Heathrow Airport Ltd, Heathrow Express, Unilever and a number of major consumer brands.

Brindley’s appointment comes at a time when ExCeL is focusing on developing its relationship with business partners in the events industry by offering an expanded suite of end-to-end event solutions, which will continue to position ExCeL as the venue of choice for UK and international events.
